다시 태어난 거창국제연극제, 세계 속으로 계속 나아갑니다.
제34회 거창국제연극제가 자연, 인간, 연극이 하나되는 세계적인 야외공연예술축제를 꿈꾸며,꺼지지 않는 불꽃같은 열정으로 우리 거창의 너무나도 아름다운 산과 계곡 위에서 오는 7월 26일부터 8월 9일까지 15일간 축제의 장을 펼치게 되었습니다.
천혜의 자연환경인 수승대와 거창 일원에서 ‘고전의 울림, 변화의 메시지’라는 슬로건 아래 예년보다 한층 더 다양하고, 알찬 프로그램으로 펼쳐질 거창국제연극제에 많은 관심과 성원을부탁드립니다.
문화와 예술에 특히 큰 관심을 가지고 폭넓은 군정을 펼치고 있는 구인모 거창군수님과 또 한번 우리 거창국제연극제의 새로운 변화의 장을 마련하기 위해 밤낮으로 애쓰신 거창군과 거창 문화재단 관계자들과 자문위원님들 그리고, 그 누구보다 성공적인 행사를 위해 아낌없이 성원해주시는 거창 군민 여러분들께 감사의 말을 전합니다.
이러한 성원과 열정을 바탕으로 멀지 않은 장래에 우리 거창국제연극제가 세계 속에 자리매김하기를 기원해 봅니다. 나아가, 훗날 세계 속 문화예술 거창을 상상해 봅니다.
Reborn Keochang International Festival of Theatre keeps moving forward into the world.
The 34th Keochang International Festival of Theatre, dreaming of a global outdoor theater art festival where natures, humans and theater become one, will be held on the beautiful mountains and valleys of Geochang from July 26th to August 9th for 15 days with a passion like an inextinguishable flame.
I ask for your interest and support for Keochang International Festival of Theatre, which will feature more various and enriching programs than last year under the slogan ‘The resonance of Classics, the message of change’, at Susuengdae and Geochang area, blessed with beautiful natural scenery.
I’d like to express my gratitude to Geochang County Mayor Goo In-mo, who governs with deep interest especially in culture and art, and the officials of Geochang-gun, the Geochang Cultural Foundation and adivisory committee members who have worked hard day and night to create this new chapter of change for Keochang International Festival of Theatre, and especially to the residents of Geochang who generously support the festival for its success more than anybody.
Based on such support and passion, I hope that our Keochang International Festival of Theatre will cement its position in the world in the not-too-distant future. Furthermore, I envision Geochang as a global city of culture and art.
